RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT
 
CONDITIONS OF PLAY
 
  1. The Championship is to be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A and the Local Rules as approved by the Championship Committee.
  2. Balls used during the Tournament must conform with the list of Conforming Golf Balls 1998 - Effective October 12th 1998 as approved by the R&A
  3. Riding in motorised carts on the course is prohibited.
  4. All players must wear shirts with corral and golf shoes. They are not allowed to wear jeans.
  5. The Championship Committee reserves the right to cancel the event, or to decide on a reduced number of holes or to change the dates, and alter the Local Rules if necessary.
  6. Score cards must be submitted to the official scorers immediately upon completion of play.
 
PROGRAM / FORMAT
 
11th of August Practice round
12th of August 18 hole Strokeplay
13th of August 18 holes Strokeplay - cut

  1. The Championship is to be played 54 holes Strokeplay, in two categories:
    • gross
    • net
  2. The Championship is "open" - players from all countries may enter the tournament if they meet all requirements concerning the time of submitting entry forms and limit of HCP.
  3. Limit of HCP:
    • for men: 24
    • for ladies: 30
  4. Limit of players: 156.
  5. The draw for the first round will be done upon HCP of players. Tournament Committee may allow players to start from 1st and 10th tee.
  6. Individual requires for special start times must be received by Tournament Committee no later than 09.08.2005.
  7. The start list for the second round will be prepared contrary to positions of players after the first round. Tournament Committee may allow players to start from 1st and 10th tee.
  8. The time allowed playing a hole, a round or part of the round will be determined by the Tournament Committee and will be given to each player for each day.
  9. In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, the competitors will play in a sudden death play-off starting on hole number 17 until a competitor wins a hole.
 
ENTRY FORMS / REGISTRATION
 
  1. Entries shall be made only on the official Entry Form (a copy of the official entry form will be accepted).
  2. Entrants must confirm in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status and shall sign the declaration to that effect contained in the Entry Form.
  3. The Entry Form fully completed must be received by Golf Amber Baltic Sp. z o.o. no later then on 05th of August 2005, personally, by post, e-mail or fax.
  4. The entry fee is 480,00 PLN (includes 7% VAT), for members of Amber Baltic Golf Club 200 PLN (includes 7% VAT), and is to be paid till 05.08.2003 by 16:00.
  5. All players may enter through their National Golf Union or directly with the Amber Baltic Golf Club. Entries failing these conditions will not be accepted.

PRIZES
 
Trophies and prizes will be presented in following categories:
  • Strokeplay gross
    • men:1st, 2nd, 3rd places,
    • ladies: 1st, 2nd , 3rd places
  • Strokeplay net
    • men: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places
    • ladies: 1st, 2nd, 3rd places
and for the best "Polonia Player", representing Polonia. Each year the name of the winner will be engraved on the board in the Clubhouse.
 
CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE
 
The following persons are nominated for the members of the Championship Committee:
  • Lech Gšsecki - Vice President of PGU - President of the Committee
  • Jan Foerster - Captain of the Amber Baltic Golf Club
  • Andrzej Szmit - Member of the Board of PGU - Member of the Committee
  • Włodzimierz Kronenberger - Main Referee
  • Marketa Stelmasiak - Golf Professional - Assistant to Main Referee
  • Małgorzata Marchelak - Club Manager - Member of the Committee
The Championship Committee will take all decisions concerning to the organisation of the Championship and will interpret these rules and conditions and may assume any rights granted by the Rules of Golf.
 

 
IMPORTANT
We inform all players that they are not allowed to wear jeans, T-shirts or shorts, both in the Club House or on the course during the tournament including the practise day.
